Jesus supernaturally extended Uncle Mike's life for 4 years. In 2018, Uncle Mike was in Changi Hospital ICU for 2 weeks. He recovered against all odds and has 4 more good years.
Uncle Mike's life is marked by the supernatural grace of God. Indeed, it is so aptly captured in the song "Goodness of God" that was released in 2018.

I remember him as a kind, unassuming and humble man that is reflected in his children. May he rest in peace. ~David Liong
When I was young, I was intrigued by the little Matchbox miniature toy vehicles that Uncle Mike brought along to let my brother Victor and I play with. They were cute, intricate and colourful. We couldn’t have been older than 3-5 years old then, so that would’ve been in 1963 or so. ~Elizabeth Tang
During a CNY visit to Auntie Cheow and Uncle Mike’s home in 2012, I was happy to learn that Uncle Mike had been working for Changi Airport and had received awards for his excellent work in working with fellow colleagues to maintain the restrooms at Changi Airport in tip-top condition. He took pride in doing work assigned to him to the best of his ability. ~Elizabeth Tang
